Emerging Artists Pottery Sale Sunday, June 8th 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm Pottery students from the Community Arts Center will sell their beautiful functional and sculptural ceramic artwork.

Empty Bowls Workshop / Click here to register $15 per person/day / 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM / JUNE 21ST AND/OR 22ND Advanced Beginners and Up Everyone is invited to take part in this national program to help the hungry. The CAC’s seventh annual EMPTY BOWLS project will begin on the weekend of June 21st and/or 22nd when potters and friends gather to create magnificent bowls for the annual soup lunch. REGISTRATION for BOWL MAKING is required. Special Events in July and August Summer Nights with the Potters Guild Spend a summer night learning something new! Potters Guild members will once again present unique workshops for all levels. Join these talented artists for one, two or all three workshops. Wednesdays 7-10 pm in the Carriage House at CAC Cost per workshop: M $25 / NM $35

Summer Concert Series 2008 Sponsored by Sovereign Bank The summer tradition of free, outdoor concerts on the beautiful grounds of the Community Arts Center continues. This year we welcome: July 11 - singer and guitarist Andy Russell July 18 - blue grass band Whirled Peas July 25 - the swing jazz styling’s of Flying Home August 1- the reggae rhythms of Three the Hard Way Bring a blanket or lawn chair to join us for Friday evenings of soul-stirring, foot-stomping, hand-clapping music under the stars. Concerts begin at 7:00. In case of rain, concerts will be held in the Duke gallery at CAC.

 

 

Open House at the Community Arts Center
Sunday, September 7th 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Come see the new Duke Gallery, tour the historic grounds, or meet an instructor you have always wanted to meet at our annual open house. Families, friends and members of the CAC are invited to tour the grounds and hunt for treasures at this fun family event.
