After completing an apprenticeship with a master chef, John went on to cook in many fine dining restaurants including Rouge, Striped Bass, Green Hills Inn, and Marigold Kitchen. John loves to cook with quality ingredients and simple technique in order to have fun with guests at his home, or for clients as a private chef. John's cooking emphasizes seasonality of local ingredients and practicality for fitting into many types of culinary experiences.
