THE NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN The New York Botanical Garden is a grand museum of living plant collections arranged in gardens and landscapes across 250 acres of its National Historic Landmark site in New York City’s Bronx borough. Two outstanding special exhibits are featured. KIKU – The Art of Japanese Chrysanthemums, is a traditional Japanese art of meticulously cultivated chrysanthemums never before seen on this scale outside Japan. These traditional techniques have been developed at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden in Tokyo since the 1880s and are on display throughout the conservatory and courtyard gardens.
